2016 ACR Show Will Be Bigger And Better
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) Show, the dedicated event for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry in the UK calendar, is set to expand next year, reports Heating and Ventilating Magazine.
The event, aimed at sharing best practice, will be held at the NEC in Birmingham from 16-18 February 2016 and will include ventilation, heating and heat pump companies.
A focus of the show will be the legislative changes which are expected to take place in the next two years and key issues affecting the ventilation market - including the Energy Related Products (ErP) Directive for commercial fans, due to come into effect this month.
Visitors will be introduced to new products and services in the market, while a 'ventilation hub' will provide access to industry experts and professionals. Heat pumps, one of the fastest evolving areas within HVACR, will be a focal point at the event.
For professionals in the boiler and renewable heating market, there will be guidance on the Energy Related Products Directive (ErP), due to come into effect in September.
Meanwhile, heating industry professionals will have the opportunity to meet some of the key players in a wide range of heating systems including boilers, renewable heating, CHP, underfloor heating and others.
There will also be a number of seminars to attend.
David Dunn, general manager at Toshiba Carrier, a sponsor, said: "Toshiba Carrier is delighted to be sponsoring the Training and Careers Theatre. We believe training is vital to maintain and enhance professional standards across the industry and secure its future."
Other sponsors include the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR), FETA, the British Refrigeration Association (BFA), Heat Pump Association (HPA) and Refcom Elite.
